Today, Sunday, Feb. 11, Super Bowl 58 will be broadcast live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Whether you're tuning in for the battle between Patrick Mahomes and Brock Purdy, Usher's halftime show, the Super Bowl commercials or to catch a glimpse of Taylor Swift in the stands, time is ticking to figure out your plan to watch the matchup live.

Who is performing at the Super Bowl halftime show?

Award-winning and multi-platinum artist Usher will take center stage at the 2024 Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show.

"This is a celebration of my legacy. It's a celebration of my music. It's a celebration of my passion," Usher told ET. "Thirty years ago that journey started and now it's landed me at this point in my life at the Super Bowl. Lot of songs, lot of moments, lot of dance, lot of energy."

QB Brock Purdy. The third-youngest quarterback ever to start a Super Bowl, the 24-year-old Purdy can cap a remarkable rise from final pick of the 2022 draft to champion in less than two years. Purdy struggled in the rain in the divisional round against Green Bay and for the first half in the conference championship game against Detroit, but he has led back-to-back comeback wins. He has thrown for 519 yards and two TDs with one INT this postseason.

QB Patrick Mahomes. He can further cement his legacy as one of the greatest players in NFL history with his third Lombardi in his first six seasons as a starter, and perhaps even capture a third Super Bowl MVP to go with it. Mahomes sacrificed stats for wins most of the season, relying on the league’s No. 2-ranked defense while the Kansas City offense was scuffling. But he’s been excellent in the playoffs, throwing for 528 yards and five TDs with no interceptions.

San Francisco DE Nick Bosa vs. Kansas City’s offense tackles. Bosa had two sacks in the NFC title game to give him a franchise-record 10 in his postseason career. If Bosa can’t get to Mahomes, he might be able to draw holding calls against one of the most penalty-prone units in the league. The Chiefs have been called for offensive holding a league-high 36 times in the regular season and playoffs. RT Jawaan Taylor is tied for the most with eight and LT Donovan Smith has four.

Chief All-Pro LG Joe Thuney is unlikely to play after sustaining a pectoral injury in the divisional round in Buffalo. RB Jerick McKinnon is also unlikely to play despite being designated to return from injured reserve, where he has been since a procedure for a core muscle injury on Jan. 2. .

The 49ers are relatively healthy with the only active players limited in practice this week being TE George Kittle (toe) and DL Arik Armstead (foot, knee). Both are expected to start Sunday.

The teams met in the Super Bowl four years ago with Kansas City overcoming a 10-point deficit with three fourth-quarter touchdowns for a 31-20 victory in Miami. The Chiefs have won five of the past six in the series, including all three games with Mahomes at quarterback. They won 38-27 in 2018 and 44-23 last season.

The wait is over, Super Bowl LVIII is almost at the doorstep. The festivities kick-started on Monday with Super Bowl Opening Night and will conclude on Sunday with the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the San Francisco 49ers in the Big Game in Las Vegas.

These two teams faced off against one another in Super Bowl XV in 2020, with the Chiefs coming out on top 31-20 after being down 20-10 at the start of the fourth quarter thanks to the exploits of two-time MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who led the team to another trophy last year.

The saying "vengeance is best served cold" will be on the minds of the 49ers and Brock Purdy, but it is easier said than done against this Kansas City side, who would look to confirm them as a dynasty with three Super Bowls in five years.

Boasting arguably the most competitive roster in the NFL, with stars at nearly every important position, the San Francisco 49ers came into the season as the pick of many to win Super Bowl LVIII, and they didn't disappoint. They started the season 5-0, and while they did have a three-game losing streak, they were considered the best team in football for much of the regular season.

They had a bye week in the wild-card round, but they needed come-from-behind wins against the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions to secure their ticket to the Super Bowl.

Although the Kansas City Chiefs finished the regular season with an underwhelming 11-6 record, they have found their groove since the playoffs rolled around, and look like the dominant side that blew everyone out of the water last year. The Chiefs are playing their best football of the season right now, and could prove to be too hot to handle for the 49ers this Sunday.

Whether you're tuning in to view the Patrick Mahomes-Brock Purdy rivalry, pop star Taylor Swift supporting Chiefs' star tight end Travis Kelce, or solely the creative commercials, you may be wondering how to actually watch the Chiefs vs. 49ers NFL championship game.
